A: The Wrong Way

A: The Wrong Way

God loves you so much, he does not want to violate your free will. If you ultimately choose to deny Him and His salvation, He will support your decision by letting you pay for your own sin. By sinning against your parents, you are usually sentenced to a ‘grounding’. By sinning against a spouse, you can be sentenced to divorce. By sinning against the government, you can be sentenced to prison. You’ll notice that as the authority increases, so does the punishment. So, it’s easy to understand that sinning against a righteous and eternally holy God will result in eternal separation from Him. It doesn’t have to be this way, but many choose it. Try not to forget, eternity has a funny way of lasting a really, really, REALLY long time.

(John 3:19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

(Luke 13:27-28) But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

(Revelation 20:15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
