B: The Only Way
God loves you so much that He doesn’t want you to have to pay the penalty that you owe. So, He made a way of escape by offering up His own life as a perfect sacrifice for YOUR sin. When He died upon that cross, a legal transaction took place. The judgment for YOUR sin was transferred to HIS account. At the same time, the reward for HIS righteousness was placed upon YOUR account. Jesus is your ticket to a restored relationship with God, the Father. And, by the way, He is the ONLY ticket.
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made one shall many be made righteous.”
Psalm 32:1-2 “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.”
Romans 4:7-8 “Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.”
