3: You ARE accountable to Him.

Most try to fool themselves into thinking that this life is all there is. They also like to believe that IF there is a heaven, then SURELY everyone will end up there, except for the REALLY evil people, of course.This kind of thinking is dangerous.They’re basically calling God’s Word into question. But, if we can understand that the Bible is reliable in categories such as                …history,             …science,          …medicine,       …already fulfilled prophecy, etc…then we can reasonably assume that everything it has to say about future events can also be trusted. And that certainly includes Judgment and the after-life.

(Hebrews 9:27)”And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

(Psalm 119:160)”Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”

(Matthew 12:36)”But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

(Romans 14:10-12)”…for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
